I don't use bracketing . Hold it and spin the two control rings on the L / * on Thumb Button: this is a lock. It's smart: it only locks the AF selection. that sensor and tracks your subject, even if it moves around the frame !

30 Dec 2007 If your bracket program is set to 0 frames then Bracket Burst is disabled. holding it down and counting as I did on D200 and do currently on D300. I wanted on the buttons but I' l have to go back and explore that.
